Fire Fighters and EMS arrived on the scene to smoke and flames visible from the top floor of a single family home. Fire suppression personnel were met by the lone occupant of the structure who indicated that there were no other persons within the dwelling. Pumper 892 began a rapid attack to apply agent to the fire located on the upper storey of the home and attic area. The investigation revealed the three inch screws that were used to fasten the shelves in the walk-in closet had penetrated the electrical wiring causing an arcing fault that ignited the structure
